Coffee Prices Jump on Renewed Frost Concerns in Brazil

September arabica coffee (KCU24) today is up +8.70 (+3.72%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU24) is up +241 (+5.57%).

Coffee prices today are sharply higher, with robusta posting a 3-1/2 week high.  Frost concerns in Brazil are pushing coffee prices sharply higher today after Rural Clima said widespread frost may occur Tuesday in Brazil's coffee-growing areas.  Frost would add to crop stress caused by dry weather in Brazil that already has threatened to reduce next year's coffee crop output.
