Coffee Prices Finish Higher on Renewed Frost Concerns in Brazil

September arabica coffee (KCU24) on Monday closed up +6.80 (+1.91%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU24) closed up +206 (+4.76%).

Coffee prices Monday moved higher, with robusta up sharply at a 3-1/2 week high.  Frost concerns in Brazil pushed coffee prices higher Monday after Rural Clima said widespread frost may occur Tuesday in Brazil's coffee-growing areas.  Frost would add to crop stress caused by dry weather in Brazil that already has threatened to reduce next year's coffee crop output.
