Coffee Prices Fall Back on Weakness in Brazilian Real

September arabica coffee (KCU24) today is down -3.60 (-1.44%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU24) is down -67 (-1.35%).

Coffee prices today are moderately lower after the Brazilian real (^USDBRL) fell to a 2-week low against the dollar, fueling long liquidation in coffee futures.  The weaker real is bearish for coffee as it encourages export selling by Brazil's coffee producers.
