Coffee Prices Close Lower on Brazilian Real Weakness and Brazil Harvest Pressures

Sep arabica coffee (KCU23) on Friday closed down -3.40 (-2.06%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU23) closed down -33 (-1.37%).

Coffee prices Friday posted moderate losses.  Weakness in the Brazilian real (^USDBRL) may prompt export selling from Brazil's coffee producers and is weighed on prices Friday after the real fell to a 3-week low against the dollar before recovering.
