
March arabica coffee (KCH25) Friday closed down -2.00 (-0.62%), and March ICE robusta coffee (RMH25) closed down -88 (-1.75%).
Coffee prices Friday posted moderate losses, with arabica coffee falling to a 1-1/2 week low and robusta dropping to a 3-week low. Coffee prices have been under pressure this week from an increase in current supplies after ICE-monitored arabica coffee inventories on Monday climbed to a 2-1/2 year high of 990,395 bags. Also, ICE-monitored robusta coffee inventories on Friday rose to a 2-1/2 month high of 4,286 lots.
