March arabica coffee (KCH24) on Tuesday closed up +4.35 (+2.42%), and Jan ICE robusta coffee (RMF24) closed up +39 (+1.53%).
Coffee prices Tuesday finished moderately higher. Concern that dry conditions in Brazil will lead to smaller coffee yields is supporting prices. Somar Meteorologia reported Monday that Brazil's Minas Gerais region received 38.7 mm of rainfall in the past week, or 63% of the historical average. Minas Gerais accounts for about 30% of Brazil's arabica crop.
