Coffee Prices Climb on Strength in the Brazilian Real

September arabica coffee (KCU24) today is up +5.60 (+2.41%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU24) is up +102 (+2.33%).

Coffee prices today are moderately higher.  Strength in the Brazilian real (^USDBRL) has fueled short covering in coffee futures as the real today rallied to a 4-week high against the dollar.  The stronger real discourages export selling from Brazil's coffee producers.
