Coffee Prices Climb on Strength in the Brazilian Real

Ice Brazil the USDA FAS USDA Vietnam arabica Cooxupe Robusta the US Climate Prediction Center

July arabica coffee (KCN23) this morning is up +0.65 (+0.36%), and July ICE robusta coffee (RMN23) is unchanged.

Coffee prices this morning are steady to slightly higher. Strength in the Brazilian real (^USDBRL) is bullish for coffee prices after the real today rallied to a new 1-year high against the dollar. The stronger real discourages export selling from Brazil's coffee producers.
