Cody Gakpo Liverpool squad number revealed after completing transfer

Cody Gakpo Liverpool PSV Eindhoven Jurgen Klopp Manchester United

Liverpool's new signing Cody Gakpo will wear the number 18 shirt after completing a £37 million move from PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday night.

The Netherlands star previously wore the number 11 shirt while playing in the Eredivisie, but Liverpool icon Mohamed Salah currently has hold of that shirt and will do for the foreseeable future.

However, Gakpo wore number eight for the Netherlands at the World Cup in Qatar and that shirt will likely be available in the summer with Naby Keita's contract coming to an end.
