Cocoa Prices Weighed Down by Strength in the Dollar and British Pound

December ICE NY cocoa (CCZ24) Friday closed down -92 (-1.19%), and December ICE London cocoa #7 (CAZ24) closed down -38 (-0.70%).

Cocoa prices posted moderate losses on Friday and were under pressure from a stronger dollar. London cocoa was also weighed down after the British pound (^GBPUSD) rallied to a 2-1/2 year high Friday, which undercuts cocoa priced in terms of sterling.
