Cocoa Prices Slip as the Dollar Rallies

July ICE NY cocoa (CCN25) Thursday closed down -130 (-1.41%), and July ICE London cocoa #7 (CAN25) closed down -128 (-1.91%).

Cocoa prices Thursday gave up an early advance and posted moderate losses after the dollar index (DXY00) rallied to a 3-1/2 week high, prompting some long liquidation pressure in cocoa futures after the Tue-Wed rally.
