Cocoa Prices Sink on Possible US Tariff Cuts and Robust Global Supplies

December ICE NY cocoa (CCZ25) today is down -199 (-3.63%), and December ICE London cocoa #7 (CAZ25) is down -37 (-0.90%).

Cocoa prices extended this week's sell-off to 1.75-year lows on the nearest-futures chart. Expectations of possible tariff cuts are weighing on cocoa prices after US Treasury Secretary Bessent said Wednesday that there would be "substantial announcements over the next couple of days" on tariffs on crops not grown in the US, including cocoa.
