Cocoa Prices Settle Mixed on Currency Fluctuations

Dec ICE NY cocoa (CCZ23) on Wednesday closed +3 (+0.09%), and Dec ICE London cocoa #7 (CAZ23) closed -13 (-0.44%).

Cocoa prices Wednesday settled mixed, as a weak dollar (DXY00) spurred short covering in NY cocoa while strength in the British pound (^GBPUSD) weighed on London cocoa. Strength in the pound undercuts cocoa priced in sterling.
