Cocoa Prices Rebound as Citigroup Cuts it Global Cocoa Surplus Estimate

March ICE NY cocoa (CCH26) today is up +128 (+2.18%), and March ICE London cocoa #7 (CAH26) is up +130 (+3.07%).

Cocoa prices are sharply higher today on signs of a smaller global cocoa surplus.  Short covering emerged in cocoa futures today to push prices higher after Citigroup cut its 2025/26 global cocoa surplus estimate to 79,000 MT from a September estimate of 134,000 MT.
