Cocoa Prices Push Higher on Global Production Concerns

Dec ICE NY cocoa (CCZ23) on Thursday closed +4 (+0.11%), and Dec ICE London cocoa #7 (CAZ23) closed +17 (+0.55%).

Dec NY cocoa and Dec London cocoa on Thursday extended Wednesday's gains and posted fresh contract highs.  Gains in London cocoa accelerated Thursday after the British pound (^GBPUSD) tumbled to a 3-1/4 month low against the dollar.  The weaker pound boosts cocoa priced in terms of sterling.
