Cocoa Prices Continue to Fall Back on Demand Concerns

September ICE NY cocoa (CCU24) today is down -399 (-4.85%), and September ICE London cocoa #7 (CAU24) is down -269 (-4.03%).

Cocoa prices on Thursday continued to fall back on long liquidation pressure after Monday's extraordinary rallies of +9.22% in NY cocoa and +7.95% in London cocoa.  Cocoa prices Thursday also saw carry-over concern about weaker cocoa demand after chocolate maker Lindt & Spruengli AG warned Tuesday of lower chocolate demand due to high prices.
