Cocoa Prices Continue Lower on Drier Ivory Coast Weather

July ICE NY cocoa (CCN23) on Thursday fell -26 (-0.82%), and July ICE London cocoa #7 (CAK23) closed down -6 (-0.23%).

NY cocoa prices on Thursday fell on the drier weather in the Ivory Coast, which has allowed truck shipments to ports to resume after the recent heavy rain that temporarily made roads impassable.  The mid-crop harvest in West Africa is currently in progress.  Cocoa prices also saw downward pressure from Thursday's +0.30% rally in the dollar index.
