Cocoa Prices Close Higher as ICE Cocoa Inventories Tighten

Dec ICE NY cocoa (CCZ23) on Thursday closed +43 (+1.26%), and Dec ICE London cocoa #7 (CAZ23) closed +25 (+0.85%).

Cocoa prices Thursday posted moderate gains on ever-tighter cocoa supplies.  ICE-monitored cocoa inventories held in U.S. ports have declined steadily over the past four months to a 7-1/2 month low Thursday.  Also, dollar weakness Thursday sparked some short covering in cocoa futures.
