Cocoa Prices Climb on Strength in Global Cocoa Demand

Sep ICE NY cocoa (CCU23) on Friday closed +15 (+0.46%), and Sep ICE London cocoa #7 (CAU23) closed +15 (+0.57%).

Cocoa prices Friday settled moderately higher on signs of strength in global cocoa demand. Gepex, an exporter group that includes six of the world's biggest cocoa grinders, reported Friday that its Q2 cocoa processing rose +3% y/y to 161,433 MT.
