A drug dealer admitted he "needs to grow up" after cocaine was found as well as incriminating messages on his phone. The handset was seized from Martin Spencer by officers interested in a car in Mildenhall Crescent, Bestwood, on October 29, 2021.
He was seen getting out of the vehicle before he was searched. Wraps of cocaine were seized from his trouser pocket and £530, Nottingham Crown Court heard on Thursday (May 25).
The haul weighed 23.3 grams and had a value of £1,280 to £1,610. His phone showed a "dealer's list" - created on May 19.

Messages revealed someone asked for "half a gram" of controlled drugs. An incoming message asked "if any drugs were available".
Spencer, 31, of Morrell Bank, Bestwood, was frank with probation, saying that he needed to grow up. And he told his barrister, Catherine Picardo, he was sorry for his actions.
Judge William Harbage KC sentenced him to 32 months in prison, giving him credit for his pleas of guilty to charges of supplying cocaine, possessing cocaine with intent to supply, and acquiring criminal property, the £530.
The judge said it was rather more than a one-off mistake - it was a way of life at that point.
