Cocaine and cutting agent 'with street value of £85k' found in Forth Valley raid

Police have recovered cocaine and cutting agent worth up to £85,000 during a drugs operation in Forth Valley.

Officers raided a property on Menstrie Road, Tullibody, on Monday April 11.

Cash worth around £31,000 was also taken away by cops and a 33-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the haul.

He was due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Tuesday April 12.

Detective Inspector John Currie, of Stirling CID, said: "This significant recovery reinforces our determination to target serious and organised crime.

"Drug misuse brings nothing but misery to our communities and people's lives can be ruined.

"I want to reassure the public that we will continue to use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets.

"Serious and organised crime has no place in our society and we will continue to disrupt this, and any other criminal activity, which impacts on our lives and our communities."
