Cocaine and cannabis worth more than £160 million seized at British port

More than £160 million worth of drugs has been seized at the same British port in the space of a month - (Getty/iStock)

Illegal drugs valued at over £160 million have been intercepted at a single UK port within one month.

On 28 June, Border Force officers at Southampton Port discovered 477 kilograms of cocaine, worth £38 million, concealed among banana pallets in a shipping container.
