Coastguard called after concerns of windsurfer 'in difficulty' at West Kirby

Coastguard West Kirby

A windsurfer found themselves in "difficulty" between West Kirby and Thurstaston.

Wirral Coastguard Rescue Team confirmed that they received reports from concerned members of the public on Thursday at around 10.30am.

They were concerned that a windsurfer out on the waters had found themselves in some "difficulty".
