A Co Tyrone teen has been selected by Lady Mary Peters to receive a bursary to help 'wrestle his way to the top'.

16-year-old Shane Gallagher from Strabane has a busy training schedule, practising judo with his clubs Shori and Konarakai five times a week and training four times a week in his local gym.

Hughes Insurance have announced him as the latest athlete to receive a £500 bursary as part on an ongoing partnership with the Mary Peters Trust.
