A Co Fermanagh woman who made it to the final of reality show The Great Pottery Throwdown has thanked the local community for their support.
Anna McGurn made it to the final stage of the show this week, but the big prize went to Aberdeen contestant AJ Simpson.
Ederney woman Anna competed against 11 others in the show, which was broadcast on Channel 4 and hosted by Derry Girls actor Siobhan McSweeney.

After the final was broadcast this week, Anna said she was ‘blown away’ by the response from the local community.
“Throughout this journey I have felt in huge waves, support and kindness,” Anna said.
“My local primary school St Josephs put up a wonderful good luck sign, I received flowers from a woman I never met and the New Street Inn greeted me with balloons, banners and flowers on my return.
“I have received so many messages of support from my local community of Ederney, Kesh and Boa Island and further afield.
“I have been blown away by the kind messages I have received here and am grateful for all the follows.
“So thank you all for supporting me on my journey, one I am still travelling on, it is much appreciated.”
Anna first took to the pottery wheel at the age of 54, having come from a farming background, as well as living and working in Africa for years.
Now back home, she is a social care facilitator and works with adults with learning difficulties.
For the final episode she made a totem, and wanted it to be a nod to those who had supported her on her journey.
“Making a totem was a mammoth task and overall I was happy with it,” Anna added.
“I wanted it to be a celebration of life and a nod to those who helped and supported me on my way.”
