A Co Fermanagh social media influencer is to appear on a new BBC stand up comedy series in what she describes as "the scariest thing I’ve ever done".
Kesh woman Abigail Parkinson, 26, has tens of thousands of followers across her social media accounts on Instagram and TikTok.
Big Comic Energy will be broadcast on BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Sounds later this year, with several online personalities put to the test for their stand up comedy debuts.

Abigail teamed up with the other contestants to take the ultimate test of performing a live show in front of an audience in Belfast this week, which she described as ‘nerve wracking’.
“It was really nerve wracking because none of us had really done it before,” Abigail said.
“It was good though because we were all in the same boat.
“They’ve been following our entire journey so since we first started and the different ideas we had.
“We brought our rough ideas to comedians Dave Elliott, Aaron Butler and the host Atherine Bohart, so it was some really great talent they had us working with.
“They helped us build it up a bit but we all wrote our own material and then adjusted it with their suggestions.”
Abigail adds that there were several stages where she wanted to drop out of the process, but by the time she made it on to the stage for the final performance all went well.
“I think it all went really well thankfully, I was very happy with it and felt good on stage,” she said.
“It was just nerve wracking but it was just do or die, sink or swim but it was great craic to be fair.
“The premise of the show is that they were getting larger than life personalities that are funny on the internet, to see if they are funny in real life on stage.
“It was brilliant, it was definitely the most I’ve ever been out of my comfort zone.
“Multiple times I wanted to drop out because I was so anxious about the whole thing, it was definitely the scariest thing I’ve ever done.”
