A Co Down school is celebrating after being crowned IFA National Futsal champions.
Shimna Integrated College stormed to victory with their Year 11 boys claiming a stunning victory at the tournament.
It follows their success in last month's regional finals, with their triumph made more impressive by the fact the boys were competing against schools with larger intakes.

Shimna won all of their games at the National finals. Their results included:

- Win: 4-3 vs Lagan
- Win: 1-0 vs Abbey CC
- Win: 6-1 vs Cullybackey
- Final: 5-1 vs Lagan
"Captained by Conal King, the team comprised Cameron Eakins, Sam Hamilton, Luke McCafferty, Xavier Rooney, Andrew Shannon and Calum Simmons," the Newcastle school said.
"Credit to Conor O’Hare as well who was in the regional squad but unable to join his teammates yesterday. Calum deserves an additional mention for finishing the tournament with 10 goals and the Golden Boot Award."
Seamus Heath, IFA representative for Newry, Mourne and Down praised the College on Twitter, saying: “A sporting school that delivers."
The school added: "Our thanks go to Mr Dagen, Mr Milligan and Mr Keown for coaching and supporting the team.
"This is a fantastic achievement and the College’s first football trophy in recent years. Plans are now afoot for the team to go on and represent Northern Ireland in an international tournament in the New Year."
