A Co Down mum is urging people to check their blood pressure after learning that she was a "ticking time bomb".

Denise Davison from Saintfield received the stark warning from doctors after being admitted to hospital with dangerously high blood pressure.

This was only detected after she attended an event, at which the Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke (NICHS) was offering blood pressure checks.
