Co Antrim woman told to 'aim lower' after becoming a teenage mum graduates with law degree

A Co Antrim woman who was told to "lower her sights" after becoming a mum at a young age has graduated with a degree in law.

Lauren Crawford, 27, from Ballymena graduated on Tuesday, July 5 with a Bachelor of Law degree at Queen's University Belfast.

In 2011, Lauren gave birth to her son Paul, now aged 11. This meant she left school at the young age of 15.
