A NI man has paid tribute to his dad who passed away 13 months after finding out he was ill.
Derek Thompson had lung cancer which spread to his brain - but remained as positive and upbeat as he could.
The father-of-two has been described by his family as "a man who helped shape many lives in many different spheres".
