A Co Antrim man says he is coming to terms with the changes to his everyday life as he recovers from major cancer surgery after a seven month wait for treatment.
Eight weeks ago, Alliance councillor David Reid from Ballymena revealed on social media that he had undergone the life-changing surgery.
David, 32, who represents the Braid area on Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, had faced a seven month wait from reporting his symptoms for cancer treatment, despite a previous diagnosis of the disease.
