A Co Antrim bar and restaurant has been named as one of the top waterside pubs in the UK.
The Boathouse, located in Co Antrim, was the only spot to feature on The Guardian's 'UK’s 20 best waterside pubs' list for 2022. According to their latest rankings, "stunning views over lakes and rivers make these the prettiest places to enjoy a pint".
The Boathouse offer a range of food and beverages for lunch and dinner while also offering a takeaway menu.

Their Facebook page reads: "Located in Antrim town, The Boathouse is a contemporary restaurant with stunning views overlooking Lough Neagh."
The Guardian too pointed out the incredible views of the lough which add to The Boathouse's appeal and makes it stand out as Northern Ireland's best waterside pub.
They said: "Enjoy mussels and just-caught flaky cod with chips at this lakeside pub with views over Lough Neagh, a large freshwater lake.
"Afterwards, take a stroll along the shoreline – ideally you’ll time your walk for one of the glowing sunsets."
The Boathouse previously won Restaurant of the Year at the Northern Ireland Hospitality Awards 2022, creating its success as a testament to its hard-working staff.
