Clyne and McArthur excellent, Wilfried Zaha dominant: Crystal Palace player ratings vs Leeds

Vicente Guaita - 7

Not too much to deal with during the first half other than a back-post header from Liam Cooper that was straight down his throat.

Nathaniel Clyne - 8

Started with a good long ball up to Jean-Philippe Mateta who managed to lift it over Meslier but see the ball cleared by a covering Leeds defender. Followed that up with a good overlap and cross into the box. Consistently looked solid rampaging up the pitch first to support Ayew and then Michael Olise after his introduction. One of the full-back's best performances of the season.

Marc Guehi - 7

Almost connected with a chance in the box following a good cross from Gallagher and a cutback. A composed performance from the centre-back defensively dealing with pace and trickery from Raphinha and Dan James.

Joachim Andersen - 7

Made an important sliding interception to stop Moreno from bursting into the box and through on goal during the first 20 minutes. Went into the referee's book for a foul on Rodrigo.

Joel Ward - 7

Made a good start to the game when overlapping for Wilfried Zaha and teasing a cross into the box which Meslier claimed. Continued to impress in an unfamiliar position and handled the challenge of Dan James well despite getting booked after the two clashed following a late challenge in the second half from the Welshman.

James McArthur - 8

Palace's heartbeat for long spells. Was brilliant during the first half breaking up play and setting the team up for attacks with neat passes out of danger. Continued in the same vein during the second half and kept Palace moving the ball quickly from the base of midfield.

Ebere Eze - 7

Not always part of the build-up play in the first half but did put some excellent crosses into the box from free-kicks and made some clever touches to create space for his teammates.

Conor Gallagher - 7

Had something to prove after his performance against Newcastle last time out and looked lively from the get-go here. Played an exquisite ball through to Jordan Ayew for a chance after 15 minutes. Continued well in the second half and almost raced clear through on goal though Zaha's final pass was intercepted at the killer moment.

Jordan Ayew - 6

Great cross into the box after being found by Gallagher on 20 minutes. Continued well with some important runs and crosses in the second half before being replaced by Michael Olise.

Jean-Philippe Mateta - 7

Unlucky not to grab an early goal after he made a great run and lifted the ball over Meslier only for it to drift wide and be cleared. Was then inches away from scoring when a brilliant touch from Llorente just took the ball away from him at the back post.

Wilfried Zaha - 8

Looked energised from the first minute and was involved in many of Palace's best moves during the first half. Leeds struggled to deal with his trickery and passing at times and committed several fouls on the Ivorian.
