Clubs receive nearly $1m as part of govt's pokie transition fund

Nearly $1 million has been distributed among six Canberra clubs for projects aimed at helping them become less reliant on pokies revenue.

The money will go towards projects including a conference centre, new outdoor dining areas and an indoor golf facility.
