Club 1872 have responded to Rangers' decision to pull out of the Sydney Super Cup.
The Ibrox team and the influential fan group have been at odds since plans were announced earlier in March.
They voiced concerns about facing Celtic in a friendly in Australia and, along with the Union Bears and other fan groups, demanded the club reverse the decision.
Fans protested at their clash with Dundee and Rangers soon released a scathing statement blasting a "propaganda war" on the club.
But they today succumbed to fan pressure and announced they will no longer be taking part.
And Club 1872 welcomed that decision as they issued a short update to members on Thursday evening.
A statement reads: "Club 1872 welcomes the decision to pull out of the Sydney Cup.
"We hope now that through meaningful engagement with supporters and shareholders Rangers will find a more suitable way to give overseas supporters an opportunity to see the team playing live in November."
