The new owners of a Nottinghamshire village pub say they have big plans to bring it back to life. The Nevile Arms closed down two months ago but it hasn't taken long for it to be taken over.
They're keen to get it up and running again as soon as possible. It will reopen with a fresh new look outside, new furniture and a pizza oven - plus a plan to turn an outbuilding into a shop for essentials.
Two couples have joined forces to relaunch the pub, in Owthorpe Lane, Kinoulton. Darren Guildford and his partner Michelle Bloxham started mobile chippy, Gilly's Fish Bar, in 2020, covering areas including Cropwell Bishop, Wellow, and Kinoulton and parts of Leicestershire.
