The ABC studio in Canberra has been vandalised for the second time in less than two weeks after perpetrators used red spray paint to spell out messages about the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Unknown persons wrote "tell the truth about Palestine" and "the clock is ticking" on the windows of the Northbourne Avenue office.
In a statement, ACT Policing said they received a report of property damage at the Dickson studio at around 10.30pm on Wednesday.
Officers arrived at the scene at around 10.35pm but could not find anyone fitting the physical description provided to police.
Similar graffiti was painted across the studio's facade late last month but police said it is currently not known if the incidents are linked.
ABC offices in other cities have also been vandalised in a similar manner.
ABC Canberra declined to comment on the incident.
Media organisations across the country have fielded complaints, including from its own staff, over coverage of the conflict, which reemerged in global headlines when Hamas militants launched a deadly attack on Israel on October 7.
Israel's retaliatory campaign, which has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths in Gaza, according to its officials, has also drawn widespread criticism.
"Police remind the community that peaceful protest is part of healthy democracy however criminal acts will not be tolerated," a spokesperson said in a statement.
Police urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the persons responsible to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestoppers.com.au, quoting reference number P2237988.
