He's the lambasted husband that has been the talk of Ramsbottom after his wife fumed over the price he paid for a whole leg of lamb down Tesco.
In what has become known as "Lambgate", residents in the Bury town have become so worried about the fate of "Clive" that they started campaigns like #SaveClive and CliveAid after his wife fumed about the price he paid for the meat joint on Facebook.
But now, in an exclusive interview with the MEN, Clive's wife Rozalia Linder has sought to reassure the public that "Clive is alive" - although he's apparently not best pleased that he's now an internet sensation.

Rozalia, 52, said she can't quite believe the reaction to her post, on the What's on in Ramsbottom Facebook page, where she complained about the £30 price of a whole leg of lamb Clive, 63, paid on Saturday afternoon.
It swiftly went viral, with hundreds of comments debating the issue, and people starting to worry about Clive's whereabouts after she joked she was holding him hostage after the incident.
In the original post she wrote: " "I sent Clive to Tesco for a leg of lamb… £30.86p!!!…
"Absolutely Mortified at the price!! He did question the price and accepted the answer and paid….. however, I’m not prepared to pay this!!
"Some families don’t even have £30 a week to feed their children …. Something Needs to be done….. I Will be taking this item back to Tesco tomorrow and asking for my money back!!!!!!"
It led to comments like "Ewe Ok Clive?" and "I bet Clive is feeling a bit sheepish now".
Rozalia said she's taken all the comments in good humour, although says Clive is not too impressed about it all.
Rozalia laughed: "He keeps swearing at me and telling me to go out of his room but I find it hilarious.
"I can just imagine him walking through Rammy and people beeping their horns at him saying: "Clive's alive" - and Clive will not see the funny side which makes it even more hilarious for me.
"Everyone has been saying he needs to get a t-shirt saying 'don't worry I'm alive', he'll never be able to go in Tesco again."
Rozalia has now explained to the MEN the full background to the fateful purchase of lamb that started the whole debacle, although Clive declined to speak when we rang up.
She said: "I was busy yesterday, I was catching up on housework and Clive said he was nipping to Tesco and said do you want anything so I said "get a leg of lamb for Sunday and some wine for dinner" but when he got home I was just mortified at the price he paid.
"He did question the price at the till, but the lady said that's how much it costs. If it had been me I'd have just put it back at that point, or got a half leg of lamb, but he doesn't think like that.
"I put the post up because I was just so angry about the price, some families don't even have £30 a week to spend on their food shopping, that's why I find it so upsetting.
"I certainly didn't want to upset anyone that wasn't my intention at all, but it just escalated didn't it?"
The couple, who are parents to two grown-up children, often have family round on a Sunday although this week the meat was supposed to be just enough for the two of them.
But Sunday roast is definitely off the menu today.
She said: "I've now taken some pork chops out of the freezer because I'm refusing to eat the lamb. It will be pork schnitzels instead, but they'll be home made so they'll be nice."
In the original Facebook post she said she was so angry about the cost of the leg of lamb that she was going to return it to Tesco today - but she says she's now decided against that.
Instead, she is planning to donate the leg of lamb to Ramsbottom Pantry, a local organisation who distributes food to families struggling financially, saying: "I want some good to come out of all this."
Her Facebook post certainly caused quite the debate among the community, with some agreeing that the cost of supermarket produce is getting ridiculous, although members of the farming community defended the price of lamb.
Rozalia said: "I've not read through all the messages so I don't know how far it's gone, I had to turn my phone off on Saturday night because it was beeping that much.
"I do have a wicked sense of humour, so I did try and respond with humour.
"I certainly didn't want to disgruntle any farmers whatsoever, that was not my intention, my gripe is not with them at all."
Rozalia works in a village shop in Stubbins where friends have been joking she'll be famous tomorrow.
And there's already been an IMPOSTER Clive on the Facebook thread.
She says: "Someone put a picture of their husband on there saying "here's Clive" - but everyone who knows Clive was saying 'that's not Clive'. It's all gone a bit crazy really.
"Someone has just put a post up saying there's a helicopter out above Rammy and they're looking for Clive, but I can confirm he's here in his office watching videos."
Clive's daughter Carla also commented on the post to let everyone know that her dad is fine, after becoming concerned when she saw the "saveclive" posts.
She said: "Clive is absolutely fine. I'm glad it brought smiles to the people of Ramsbottom.
"Definitely have to get my dad one of those T-shirts for Father's Day. Enjoy your Roasts everyone, my dad's having Schnitzels now instead of the lamb
