As one of the most iconic examples of an actor who became a director, Clint Eastwood has run the full Hollywood gamut — at least the non-CGI spectacle sector — and has multitudes of experience before and behind the camera. He’s also a director known for wasting zero time, energy and film stock during production, which doesn’t freely allow for actors to have egos or on-set melodrama.
