Dr. Vincent Greenwood, who serves as the director of the Washington Center for Cognitive Therapy, argues that these psychological patterns warrant consideration of the 25th Amendment.
Greenwood released a book titled Puppet on a String: Trump Is Ruled by an Ominous Psychological Condition, which offers a forensic assessment of the president. He points to three specific traits that he considers destructive, which are impulsivity, remorselessness, and an intense drive to dominate. “These traits are ominous—every one of them,” said Greenwood. He has studied the president for years and performed more than 1,700 psychological evaluations during his career.
