There was an awkward exchange on BBC's The One Show as Sir Cliff Richard was asked to settle a family mystery.

The 82-year-old musician and EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks were both guests on Friday evening’s live episode of the BBC One chat show, and things appeared to be going well.

However, things turned savage when Charlie, who plays Janine on BBC One soap EastEnders, asked Sir Cliff about a family mystery – that he may have once stepped in for her grandad’s band.
