When you get a phone call, you can usually work out who it is that's calling by looking at your phone screen and if the person is in your contacts, their name will show up - and even if they're not, you can sometimes see a location so you have a rough idea of where the call is coming from.
But did you know there's a way to work out who's calling before you've even taken your phone out of your pocket?
Thanks to a little-known feature, iPhone users can do exactly that by playing around with their settings - and it even works when you've got your phone on silent.
Many phones let you set custom ringtones for specific people so that you know you're significant other is calling when your phone starts playing their favourite song.
And while you can do that on iPhones too, you can also do something even more impressive - as you can set distinct vibration patterns for individual contacts, meaning that even when your phone is on silent, you'll still know exactly who's calling by the way your phone vibrates.
In an online version of the iPhone User Guide, Apple states that all you need to do to set individual ringtones or vibration patterns is head to your Contacts app, find the contact you want, and tap Edit.
From there, you can choose a specific ringtone and text tone that will only apply to that contact.
To change their vibration pattern, tap "create a new vibration" and tap out the pattern you want.
Meanwhile, we recently reported on another little-known iPhone feature that can tell you exactly when it's going to snow or rain - as well as when it's going to stop.
To turn on the feature, you need to head to your weather app, and then tap the three-line icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. From there, you should tap the circle icon with the three dots in the top right corner.
Head to 'Notifications', and under 'Current location' slide the switch next to 'Next-Hour Precipitation' to the on position. Then you can tap done, and you're all finished.
The feature should warn you of snow or rain within minutes of the weather changing so that you'll always be prepared for adverse conditions.
