The Georgia Bulldogs played well in their 34-3 drubbing of the Clemson Tigers. Georgia did an excellent job of taking advantage of Clemson’s miscues and outscored the Tigers 28-3 in the second half.
Georgia faced former UGA offensive line coach Matt Luke, who now holds the same position at Clemson. Luke can’t be happy with how the Tigers played in Week 1. Clemson managed only 46 rushing yards on 23 carries against Georgia. The Tigers totaled only 188 total yards of offense as they struggled to accumulate first downs against the Bulldogs.
Perhaps Clemson’s biggest blunder of the game came when two Clemson offensive linemen both pulled in opposite directions on the same play. The result was that they appeared to block each other and effectively ruined the play.

“Georgia is going to make a lot of people look bad. They made us look bad today,” Clemson Tigers coach Dabo Swinney said after the loss.
