Tottenham Hotspur defender Clement Lenglet has admitted that his side looked disorganised during Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa.
Spurs have struggled since the Premier League resumed on Boxing Day, drawing 2-2 with Brentford before falling to Villa on New Year's Day thanks to goals from Emiliano Buendia and Douglas Luiz. Now, experienced centre-back Lenglet has voiced his frustrations ahead of Wednesday's clash against Crystal Palace
"It was not the way we wanted to start the New Year," the Frenchman said, via the Express, when discussing the loss against Unai Emery's side. "Very early in the second half we conceded quickly and the way we played was a little bit disorganised in the second half.
