Penrith are expected to confirm the retention of coach Ivan Cleary and star halfback Nathan on lengthy NRL deals.
The Panthers have called a press conference for Wednesday morning where they are set to announce new contracts for the pair.
While they struggled in their first year working together in 2019, the Clearys have helped the Panthers to a minor premiership and a grand final triumph over the past two seasons.
Nathan was already under contract with the club until 2024 but both he and his father are expected to remain at the Panthers until 2027.
While they were never likely to lose the father-son duo, the retention will undoubtedly act as a lure for players to move to or stay at the Panthers.
Penrith have Brian To'o, Stephen Crichton and Liam Martin all coming off contract next year and the fact the Clearys are staying will be a significant factor in enticing players to stay.
