The Traitors concluded with a dramatic finale last night, with the first series having now come to an end after having captivated BBC viewers over the last couple of weeks.
The show saw contestants divided into Faithfuls and Traitors, with the latter group challenging with uncovering and eliminating their rivals each night. There were also opportunities to banish Traitors.
The finale saw Hannah, Aaron and Meryl – the remaining Faithfuls – vote out Kieran and Wilfred, who were Traitors. It meant that the trio won more than £100,000 collectively.
There has been much support for the contestants on social media recently. And there has been a lot of praise for the show's host Claudia Winkleman from viewers too!
Following the final episode, fans took to Twitter to share their adoration for Claudia. Some even proposed that she should receive a damehood in response to the series.
One wrote: "You just KNOW [she] had so much fun making #TheTraitors and it showed! I literally can't even imagine it with anybody else. She needs to be made a dame NOW!"
"Gripping entertaining! Made me laugh made me cry! Honestly the best show on TV this year! Also let's make [Claudia] a Dame please," another viewer tweeted.

Such viewers weren't alone in their praise for both the finale and the show's host. Another fan tweeted: "Best hour of TV ever? Give Claudia a damehood immediately".
Claudia has been described as "the perfect host" and "superb" by other viewers. One person tweeted recently: "I cannot think of anyone better to have hosted #TheTraitors".
Others expressed hope that she will return for a potential second series. This included one fan who said: "Petition for Series 2 to be presented by Dame Claudia Winkleman".
Fans are hoping there will be a second series. "Praying we get a second series," wrote one viewer. Another tweeted: "I really hope it comes back for another series (or a few!)".
The BBC show is based on De Verraders ( The Traitors ), which launched in The Netherlands last year. The Dutch version returned for a second series earlier this year.
The Traitors is available on BBC iPlayer.
