Claudia Winkleman has revealed she plans to stick around on Strictly for as long as possible as she will never quit her role as presenter.
The 50-year-old has been involved in the show since 2004 and has worked her way up to presenting the main show alongside Tess Daly. She began presenting the dance contest's sister show Strictly: It Takes Two, before handing the baton over to Zoe Ball in 2012.
Then, she began her duties on Sunday's results show, before heading up the Saturday show too since 2014.
And she insists she will stay in the role for as long as producers want, vowing she won't step back from the position voluntarily.
When questioned whether she intends to be a part on the popular BBC1 show for its upcoming 20th anniversary next year, Claudia told the Radio Times she will present it "until they tell me to pick up my bottle of fake tan and leave".
Strictly is planning to celebrate the BBC ’s centenary with a themed week. Speaking about their plans for it, Claudia added: "Tess, me and the dancers are gatecrashing the BBC’s biggest shows — Match of the Day, EastEnders, The Graham Norton Show, Casualty… Every dance will either be to a BBC theme tune or be inspired by a BBC show. We’re really excited about it."
The TV and radio personality went on to joke she would never take part on Strictly herself as a dancer, joking: "Nobody wants to see that!"
This week's edition of the competition saw Claudia make a cheeky quip to Dianne Buswell as the dancer makes it through to week five.
She joked that Dianne, who is partnered with Tyler West has only made it to that round of the glitzy competition once before, and she now lives with that partner.
She said: “Our gorgeous Dianne Buswell has only made it past week four once before in five years. It’s only happened once before and Tyler she now lives with him."
The studio audience burst into laughter as Claudia shot a cheeky grin towards the pair. Tyler also joined in the banter, responding: "I’m moving in Sugg."
The joke was referring to Dianne’s YouTuber boyfriend Joe Sugg who partnered with the Australian dancer on the show in 2018. The pair began dating shortly after.
