Claudia Winkleman was accidentally hit in the face by Crufts 2026 winner, Lee Cox after his dog - four-year-old Clumber Spaniel, Bruin - won Best in Show on Sunday (8 March).
Post announcement, handler Cox mistakenly knocked Winkleman’s microphone which hit her chin.
Embarrassed by the mishap, turning to the cameras, Cox said, “ Oh, sorry. And I've just hit you in the face.”
“ I've just hit Claudia, Claudia in the face with a microphone,” he added.
The Traitors' host, making her highly anticipated Crufts debut, laughed off the incident, allowing Cox to refocus on his win. “I’m very emotional at the moment,” he admitted.
