Claudia Winkleman and Tony Hadley lead cast of stars competing at Centrepoint quiz

Claudia Winkleman put stars like David Tennant, Sarah Jayne Dunn, Ruth Codd and Vogue Williams to the test last night at a charity quiz.

The Traitors presenter, 54 , was supporting homelessness charity Centrepoint at their annual Ultimate Quiz which has been running since 2010.

The event was held at The Underglobe, located underneath the iconic London Shakespeare’s Globe and raised funds for the charity’s Independent Living Programme.

The programme provides young people escaping homelessness affordable housing, with rent contributions capped at a third of their take-home pay – the charity run Reuben House in Peckham, which is now home to up to 33 young people.

As well as testing their general knowledge, the stars were also treated to a performance from 80s legend Tony Hadley.

Radio 1’s film reporter Ali Plumb also hosted a film round, and other celebs in attendance included Jim Chapman, Dr Ranj, Lisa Maxwell and Juilet Sear.

“It was a pleasure to host Centrepoint’s Ultimate Quiz again,” Claudia said.

“The evening was full of energy and fantastic prizes, but what matters most is the support shown for young people facing homelessness.

“I’m glad to help highlight the fantastic work Centrepoint does.”

Last month, Kris Thykier revealed that even at home, The Traitors remains strictly spoiler-free.

Winkleman’s film producer husband admitted that neither he nor their three children have any inside knowledge about how the BBC hit will unfold, despite her front-and-centre role as host.

Speaking to the Standard, Thykier said Winkleman keeps her cards firmly close to her chest when it comes to her own show, leaving even her nearest and dearest watching along with the rest of the nation.

“She won’t tell me anything so we have to watch it live,” he said. “So, we’re all watching it with bated breath.”

Next month, Winkleman will start hosting her own chat show, The Claudia Winkleman Show.

The talk show will also be made by So Television, the company who produce The Graham Norton Show.

“I can't quite believe it and I'm incredibly grateful to the BBC for this amazing opportunity,” Winkleman said when the show was announced.
