THANE: Political circles are abuzz following chief minister Eknath Shinde's recent veiled statement on his mentor Anand Dighe and the circumstances leading to his death. Dighe loyalists and his nephew Kedar Dighe have sought a clarification on the statement. Dighe had met with a road accident and died in hospital in 2001.
Shinde, while speaking to his supporters during his Malegaon tour last week, had hinted of knowing some little-known facts about the late Shiv Sena leader which, if revealed, could cause tremors in the political circles.
